Kathy Taylor is the founder of HerdWise, LLC and an Eagala Certified Equine Specialist. She is a lifelong lover of horses and will be the first to tell you that her most important life lessons involved these powerful creatures.

Born with the heart and spirit of an entrepreneur, she recognizes the importance of good leadership and the ability for teams to work well together in order for businesses to succeed.

Her role in the arena is to translate the body language of the horses into metaphors that we can apply to our lives, both professionally and personally. What gets her most excited is helping people discover their own natural talent for and style of leadership and how to put that information to work for better relationships and a more successful life.

Kathy is the recipient of the 2011 NAWBO Innovator Award presented by the National Association of Women Business Owners.

Julie Mastin, MA, LPC  understands the characteristics employers look for in their employees, and how to identify  work related strengths. She is an experienced vocational counselor having worked for several years for a large international insurance company. She also has experience  as an office manager and human resource manager for a small business.

In the arena, Julie powerfully combines her knowledge of relationships with her business experience for the benefit of the client. She believes deeply in the power of the horse to provide simple, yet powerful messages for all who strive to be exceptional leaders and team players.

As a therapist in private practice in Fort Worth, Julie received the Humanitarian Award from the YWCA Fort Worth in 2008 for her dedication and expertise in counseling young women.

Our horses are a wonderful bunch of personalities with quirks and qualities as varied as you’ll find in the human world. They perfectly teach us that what happens with the horses also happens in life.
