Our lives are a series of ups & downs. If we’re honest with ourselves, we don’t really enjoy the “downs” part very much.
Most of us would prefer if it were a little easier and looked more like this. Just a nice, calm life that’s free of drama.
But I have a question for you. How high (or low) is that line that represents your ‘problem-free life?’ Where would it be on a scale of 1 to 10?
It’s impossible to know for sure, unless there are some ups and downs. Yes, those peaks and valleys define one another. Without a valley, there is no peak. We wouldn’t be so excited for success if we didn’t have some failure to compare it to.
So, be grateful for the challenges that come your way. They give your life definition, shape who you are, and create who you will become.
Your journey has molded you for your greater good, and it was exactly what it need to be. Don’t think that you’ve lost time. It took each and every situation you have encountered to bring you to the now. and now is right on time.” – Asha Tyson
